Alaska Daily, Season 1

Alaska Daily is the best show on TV! It is both entertaining and relevant. Based in part on the Pulitzer Prize winning “Lawless” series of articles about missing and murdered indigenous women, the plot line is riveting. The characters are compelling, the acting is outstanding, and the music is unique/good.

I appreciate the well-thought out writing of each episode of “Alaska Daily.” The diverse casting of realistic, common and quirky actors makes the setting seem believable. All of the understated performances led by Hilary Swank’s no-nonsense, driven delivery makes the characters come to life. You become involved and care about their lives and situations. It’s a slow burn, character driven drama. No flash, no slick look, no fast-paced editing, no golden/yellow filters added to the filming, no hip rock theme song. Just a solid, intelligent, topical, beautifully acted, entertaining drama series. Many thanks to Executive Producer Hilary Swank!!

It’s a shame that we have to see the press investigate and expose corruption only in tv series.. I like it 👍
