This show lied so badly it forced Jerry West to sue HBO for defamation of character. The writers were downright malicious with their disgusting portrayal of the Great Jerry West. Literally NOTHING they say about him is true in this show… NOTHING. Need evidence? How bout the REAL Kareem defending West and saying the show was out of bounds… Kareem stated Jerry West was CATEGORICALLY NOT a racist person, end of story. West also didn’t/doesn’t have the emotional maturity of a 7 yr old girl who didn’t get a pony for her birthday. What organization would put up with a player like that let alone make him PLAYER/HEAD-COACH. Usually A-Holes like he’s portrayed in the show don’t get promotions… they get FIRED. To treat “THE LOGO”, of all people, like utter crappola is just plain WRONG. Don’t get me started on the rest of the characters/plot…. It’s 15% TRUTH + 85% PURE FABRICATION. Don’t support shows like this with your hard earned cash… especially since $1 isn’t worth nearly what it was just 1 year ago.
