The movie seemed to park on the Jim Crowe theme too much and played down the wholesomeness of the 30's when black communities cared for one another instead of the negativity of the Klan as if that's all the past was about. I noticed black men were home and church stuff was a center only to be played down by a life of drinking then of course the vampires were white and corrupted the community good night just couldn't be about vampires could it.

Does the world really need yet another vampire movie?

overrated and in my humble opinion, the last 30 minutes devolved into 1998 John Carpenters Vampires. You know, the one where they checked James Woods out of the retirement home to play a vampire killer. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Ryan Coogler of Black Panther 🐆 fame Seems to borrow Killmonger again for Sinners! Michael B Jordan plays Both Twin Brothers which might be Cliché at this point, but either way they both get into a Blood Red stain with a gang of Vampires 🧛‍♂️ including Haliee Steinfeld’s Diva Succubus! The movie is a mess in spots but still is visceral car accident of a good movie in others! There’s moments that will stick to the roof of your mouth 😖! It’s a Sin how good it was! 👹
